Our tour of knowledge keeps on rolling – this time with *um as an event organizer. In April there are three sector events, two of which will be led by us. We’re looking forward to seeing you!
DataWorks Summit // April 5-6, Munich
The DataWorks Summit, also known as the Hadoop Summit, is one of the largest events within the Big Data community, and has a particular focus on deep learning, artificial intelligence and how open source technologies can help with data processing. We won’t be giving a talk, so *um Account Manager Giscard Venn will be there to represent us.
*umMeetUp Data Machina // April 6, Berlin
The first *umMeetUp is all about bridging data science, engineering and system operations. The program includes *um Data Scientist Till Breuer with his presentation "Via Swipe App to desired vehicle - Gamification and Machine Learning in action”, which involves a Porsche use case. Additionally, Viktor Atalla, a data scientist at Qudosoft, will be giving a talk called “How to reanimate a fuck up data science project – the case of modern print impulse optimization”.

All partners in Berlin are welcome to come along and enjoy the two presentations: “Hybrid und Multicloud Operations – The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" by *um Teamlead Operations Sirko Krauskopf, and “The Why, How and What of Successful Digital Businesses in the Cloud” by David Weiner, Territory Manager Germany at Amazon Web Services.
To be continued in May.
